Ori ("we," "us," or "our") is a personal AI assistant operated by Kunolu LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service through any channel, including SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, voice calls, and the web application at oriassistant.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials.
- Messages — the content of messages you send to Ori via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, voice, or web chat.
- Connected accounts — when you link Google, Microsoft, or Todoist accounts, we access email, calendar, and contacts data as authorized by you through OAuth.
- Usage data — interaction timestamps, feature usage, and device/browser information.
- Payment information — subscription and billing data processed through RevenueCat and the respective app store. We do not store credit card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Ori service.
- To process your requests — reading email, managing calendar events, looking up contacts, and managing tasks on your behalf.
- To send you service-related notifications and responses.
- To manage your account, subscriptions, and customer support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Ori:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, and cloud functions.
- Twilio — SMS, WhatsApp, and voice call delivery.
- Telegram Bot API — Telegram message delivery.
- LLM providers (e.g., Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic) — AI language model processing. Your messages are sent to these providers to generate responses. Refer to each provider's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Hetzner — server hosting (Germany/EU).
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Conversation history is retained to provide context for ongoing interactions. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure OAuth token storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Disconnect third-party accounts (Google, Microsoft, Todoist) at any time from your settings.
- Opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to any Ori message.
8. Children's Privacy
Ori is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
